The more computerized version of the tech-99 bone scan allows better localization of hot spots, with vertical and horizontal slicing in a fashion similar to CT and MRI scans. here a very intense hot spot is seen in the right bicuspid region, with lesser involvement of the mandibular bicuspid regions, bilaterally. |
