Since most osteonecrosis patients suffer from hypercoagulation, it is not surprising that many biopsy samples show a thick background film of fibrin and hemorrhage, usually embedded with dead fat cells, oil cysts and fatty microvesicles. In this case, no other tissue could be found in the cavitation. |
