Figure 31: Normal fatty marrow, as seen here, shows very few visible veins, shows virtually no fibrous tissue, and no hemorrhage or serous ooze (plasmostasis) between fat cells.  The fat cells press directly against one another and their cytoplasm (removed by our lab processing) is clear, with cell walls barely visible.
