Fibrin Thrombosis

Marrow veins, capillaries and sinusoids are often dilated from back-up pressure.  Sluggish flow enhances fibrin production and deposition in the vessels, resulting in fibrin aggregation (arrows) and blockage of the lumen.  Here dead adipocytes and fat globules are also seen in the lumina (clear spaces).
