Wispy
marrow fibrosis interspersed with residual adipocytes seems to flow
between and around the fat cells. This is the classic change
(adipocytes-to- fibroblasts-to-fibrosis) of chronic marrow ischemia, according to animal studies. Occasional chronic inflammatory cells are seen and the bone is partially delaminated. The sinusoid along the trabecula is dilated. |
