Mandible with large discolored area of soft, cystic necrosis (large arrows) in first molar region, with destroyed crestal bone. GM = gelatinous marrow along inferior alveolar nerve, with destroyed alveolar canal wall. Small arrow, to left, is area of poor healing from previous NICO curettage. |
